Over-the-counter Viagra pills have gone on sale in the UK for the first time.
From today, Viagra Connect is available without a prescription at stores as well as to order online from pharmacy websites.
The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency approved the move last November .
The pills are made by Pfizer and will be available in 14,000 stores.
It is estimated erectile problems affect up to 21% of men – 4.3 million.
Despite this, a study shows 44% of men with erectile dysfunction aged 40 and over have not sought medical help.
