German politicians have voted to legalise same-sex marriage. A total of 393 politicians voted to legalising "marriage for everybody", while 226 voted against and four abstained from voting. The snap vote took place today, only days after Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel changed her mind to allow a free vote. Ms Merkel, has always been against same-sex marriage, but she allowed for the vote after saying on Monday that politicians could take up the issue as a "question of conscience". As expected, she voted against the bill citing concerns over the welfare of children. Members of Ms Merkel's conservative coalition were given the freedom to individually vote for their choice rather than follow party lines. The Chancellor said though she voted against legalising gay marriage, she hoped Parliament's approval of the measure would lead to more social cohesion. A Mexican cartel leader who dismembered a six-year-old girl with an axe then burned her limbs as he made her parents watch has been sentenced to multiple life sentences in an American prison. Marciano Millan Vasquez, 34, was jailed for his involvement in the deaths of 29 people which he carried out for Zetas, a drug gang which operates in northern Mexico, between 2009 and 2015. Among them was the six-year-old girl who he butchered on the patio of her home in front of her parents to ensure they would 'remember' him. The killings were all carried out in Mexico but because Millan was working living in San Antonio, Texas, and was arrested there, he was prosecuted in US court and will serve his sentence there. A 39-year-old witness told of the girl's sickening death, which he said he was forced to watch after being held responsible for a missing shipment of marijuana. An ex-rugby coach, David Simmons who filmed and sexually abused young men in his care has been jailed for a total of three years and eight months after pleading guilty to 17 sexual offences. He pleaded guilty at Southwark Crown Court to the offences and was sentenced Thursday. He admitted seven counts of voyeurism, one count of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, four counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual assault on a male and three counts of making indecent photograph or pseudo-photographs of a child. Detective Chief Inspector Zena Marshall, from the Met's Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command, said: "Simmons abused the trust that was placed in him by both the victims and their parents; this was a terrible betrayal. Sattahip police, Thailand were called to a deserted house after the owner of a seven year old Thai dog reported that a man had raped her pet. The dog owner Bang-orn Phumkaew called the cops after catching the 65 year old man completely naked with "Jao Jut", a Thai breed of dog. The culprit "Chen" was caught having intercourse with the dog, on Wednesday, June 28. She said that she and her son had become suspicious as every day the same man would come to visit the deserted house 50 meters from theirs. And every time he arrived and went into the property their dog would wag its tail and run out to go and meet him. At first it seemed innocent, then their suspicions were aroused. Jao Jut went into the house and they would hear moans emanating from the property before their pet returned. According to the UK Police, 31 year old Noah Fessazion, who cultivated £35,000 worth of cannabis at a residential address in Thamesmead, London has been jailed for three years. Noah was found guilty of production of cannabis following a trial. Back in February 2016, detectives executed a search warrant at Manning Court in Thamesmead and discovered a cannabis factory with a street value of £35,000.    The factory was capable of producing over £100,000 worth of cannabis per year. Enquiries led police to Fessazion and he was arrested following an investigation for producing cannabis.  Detective Constable Craig from the Greenwich Gangs Unit, said: "I am very pleased with the conviction. The supply of all drugs within the borough drives all types of crime, whether that be anti-social behaviour or violent crime, we do not stop daily in protecting the residents of Greenwich from this activity."

A 22-year-old woman, who was eight months pregnant, was lured to a home with a false promise of donations for her baby but on getting there, she had her baby cut from her womb after she was hanged and stabbed. Her body was then buried in the back garden by her 27-year-old assailant. The suspect, Suelen Coimbra do Carmo, said she desperately wanted a child so she lured Costa then carried out the brutal attack on her. Costa was first drugged, hanged and then stabbed before the baby was cut from her womb. The baby did not survive and was found wrapped in some clothes and dumped in a wash basin inside the suspect's bedroom. Ironically, Carmo told police that she had an abortion two months ago, despite wanting a child. She met Mrs Costa through social media and began plotting the attack. A failed YouTube stunt by a couple trying to get famous on YouTube has led to the death of a man and a woman being charged with manslaughter. 22-year-old Pedro Ruiz from Halstad, Minnesota and his pregnant girlfriend, 19-year-old Monalisa Perez, decided to carry out a stunt which involved Ruiz holding a book to his chest while Perez shoots at it. Ruiz had convinced Perez that he had performed a similar stunt where he shot but the book kept the bullet from going all the way through. He encouraged Perez to try it on him. As the camera started rolling, Ruiz held a different book close to his chest while Perez fired a 50 caliber handgun from about one foot away. The book did not stop the bullet and it hit Ruiz in the chest, killing him. At about 6:30 p.m. on Monday night, Norman County sheriff’s deputies were called to the 500 block of U.S. Highway 75 on a report of a shooting and on arrival, they saw Ruiz with a single gunshot wound to his chest. A 19-year-old woman, Tiffany James, allegedly stabbed a 14-year-old schoolgirl, Madison Branch, in the stomach at a gas station - in revenge for bullying and tormenting her younger sister for years. This took place in Portland, Oregon after a fight broke between two groups of girls Tiffany's mother, Debra, claims her daughter had acted in self-defense but Branch's aunt, Christy had a different story, She confirmed that Tiffany's sister was indeed being bullied but it had nothing to do with her neice that died. A tourist in China is reported to have fainted after accidentally breaking a jade bracelet worth 300,000 yuan (N14,000, 000). The woman was visiting a jade market in Ruili City, south western China's Yunnan province on June 27 when she accidentally dropped a bracelet while trying it on. Unfortunately for the woman, the jade bracelet snapped in half, reports the People's Daily Online. According to reports, the bracelet slipped out of her hand and it cracked in two after hitting the floor. Footage shows the moment the woman faints upon learning the price of the bracelet. Jade is a luxury product in China and is seen to represent good health and a long life. Following the smash, the shop's owner told her that the bracelet was worth 300,000 yuan (拢34,000). UK police confirms that 25 year old David Mckenzie who preyed on a vulnerable young boy and engaged in sexual activity with him has been jailed. He was jailed on Monday June 26 at Wood Green Crown Court for four years and ten months and given a ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order. He was also placed on the sex offenders' register for life. McKenzie was sentenced after pleading guilty to one count of sexual activity with a child under the aged of 16 at an earlier hearing in May.   He committed the crime on the evening of August 19, 2015, when the victim - a boy aged 13 at the time of the offence had run away from home. He was travelling on the bus network when he fell asleep. In the Waltham Cross area he was awoken by McKenzie who offered the boy a place to stay.   The boy accepted and the pair travelled to McKenzie's address. Once inside the address McKenzie offered the boy cannabis before engaging in penetrative sex with the child.  The boy

A 80-year-old superstitious passenger, delayed a China Southern Airlines flight for over four hours after throwing nine coins at the plane's engine for good luck. She threw  the coins into the left engine as she ascended the stairs to go into the plane and was later detained by police following the incident. Her action forced nearly 150 passengers to be evacuated from the flight bound for Guangzhou and a maintenance team had to conduct a full examination of the plane's engine. Eight of the coins missed their target but one got into the engine. She was confirmed to have no previous criminal records and no history of mental illness.

A Chinese woman, Ms Alimihan Seyiti, from China's western Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, is believed to be the world's oldest person after celebrating her 131st birthday on June 25. Her ID card shows she was born on June 25, 1886 and she spent her birthday at home with her 56 descendants. Just over a week ago, Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna spent Father's day together and even kept staying together days after, giving the impression that they were back together. However, recent chat between Rob Kardashian and a woman called Bonita revealed that all is not well between the two of them. It all started when Bonita (@bonita4real) exposed her baby daddy for exchanging text messages with Chyna.  Rob saw Bonita's post and contacted her via Instagram. He told her to call him and when she did, they began texting back and forth.  In the text, shared by Fameolous, Rob exposed a lot. He referred to his baby mama as a hoe, several times. “She’s for everyone,” he wrote in one of the texts. He also  told of how he’s paying all her bills and that she can’t afford to give her mother money. Rob went on to claim that the luxurious lifestyle she flaunts is funded by him, including her cars.
