Police at Entebbe International airport, Uganda, arrested two Nigerian women headed for Lagos, Nigeria, for allegedly being in possession of 10kgs of heroine estimated at Shs3 billion. According to reports, the two women who are family members, arrived in the country on November 20, 2016. Ms Aniugo Agnes Egonna, 76 and her daughter Ms Aniugo Gloria Vera, 35, were intercepted on November 25 at the airport. While Ms Vera had 5kgs of heroin worth Shs1.565 billion, her mother also had 5kgs worth Shs1.565 billion that had been concealed in their luggage. In their statement to police, Aniugo Agnes and her daughter claimed to have been in Uganda for the introduction ceremony of Agnes’ son who is engaged to a Ugandan girl. This has however not been verified and the police claims not to be sure whether their son who supposedly left Uganda before the two,  also trafficked drugs. A chartered plane with a Brazilian first division football team, crashed near Medellin while on its way to the finals of a regional tournament. 75 people on-board the ill-fated flight died while 6 survived. The aircraft, which had departed from Santa Cruz, Bolivia, was transporting the Chapecoense team from southern Brazil for the first leg of a two-game Copa Sudamericana final against Atletico Nacional of Medellin, which was due to be played on Wednesday November 30th. A monstrous 24-year-old Maryland father, Robert Davidson, pleaded guilty to sexually abusing and killing his 10-week-old daughter last year. Davidson appeared in court on Monday to answer the charges of sex abuse of a minor and first-degree child abuse resulting in death in connection to the June 2015 slaying of his daughter, Aleah Thompson.  The baby girl's mother, 22-year-old Lorena Thompson, pleaded guilty to neglect of a minor in July and was sentenced to five years of probation. Prosecutors said that Thompson had seen bruises on her daughter's body and suspected that her boyfriend had been physically abusing Aleah but did not do anything to protect the infant or alert the authorities. Ms Emma Morano of Vercelli, Italy was born 117 years year ago on November 29, 1899. Guinness World Records confirmed her as the world's oldest person on May 16 this year, when she was 116 years and 169 days old.  Her life has spanned three centuries, two World Wars and more than 90 Italian governments. 76 people including Brazilian footballers have been confirmed killed in the passenger plane that crashed early this morning (Nigerian time).  The plane was carrying 81 people including Brazilian international footballers, (Chapecoensea football club), their technical team, media personnel and others and were on their way from Bolivia to Columbia for a football match when it crashed. Five people are said to have survived. The plane was chattered in Bolivia from a small airline. The cause of the crash has not been confirmed yet though initial report claimed the plane ran out of fuel...

South Korea's President Park Geun-hye has said she has asked parliament to help her find a way to stand down. Ms Park has been facing growing calls to resign amid an investigation into whether she allowed a long-time friend to influence political decisions for personal gain. She said she would "leave to parliament everything about my future including shortening of my term". An impeachment motion had been scheduled in parliament on Friday. In a televised address, her third since reports of the scandal began, Ms Park said she would step down "once lawmakers come up with measures to transfer power in a way that minimises any power vacuum and chaos in governance". The identity of the person who attacked other students at the Ohio University campus Monday has been revealed.   According to CBS, the attacker was Abdul Artan, an 18-year-old student at the university. He was a Somali refugee who left his homeland with his family in 2007, lived in Pakistan and then came to the United States in 2014 as a legal permanent resident of the United States, officials said. He posted a rant shortly before he plowed a car into a campus crowd and stabbed people with a butcher knife in an ambush that ended when a police officer shot him dead, a law enforcement official said. Abdul Razak Ali Artan, 18, wrote on what appears to be his Facebook page that he had reached a "boiling point." "America! Stop interfering with other countries, especially Muslim Ummah (community). A total of five people, including two women and three men, were on Monday, caned outside a mosque in the conservative province of Aceh in Indonesia, which adheres to Sharia law. A 34-year-old woman (pictured) was flogged with a rattan cane at least seven times for being in close  proximity to a man who is not her husband. The 32-year-old male who was with her was also flogged seven times. "It hurts so bad," the woman said, as cited by AFP, raising her arms into the air. Two university students, both 19, received 100 lashes, after confessing to having sex outside marriage. A man found guilty of sex outside marriage was also flogged at least 22 times by the person delivering the punishment, who was dressed in long robes and a hood. A 47-year-old Nigerian man has been arrested for scamming an elderly woman out of nearly $9,000 in  Vermillion Parish, Louisiana, US, according to a news release from the Louisiana Attorney General's Office. Attorney General Landry said: "Our office is on the front lines investigating, arresting, and educating to help stop the awful occurrence of seniors being targeted and preyed upon by scammers". "We want to help Louisiana’s people avoid falling victim to mortgage, contractor, charity and other types of frauds commonly perpetrated on senior citizens." Chigozie Valentine Agu was arrested on charges of Felony Theft in excess of $5,000, Bank Fraud, Money Laundering, and Racketeering. Ramey, has been arrested for the rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl, Sabrina Stauffenberg, who was snatched from her front porch as she waited for a ride to church. Police found Sabrina's body on Wednesday by tracing her cell phone signal. According to MailOnline; friends of the family told Fox News that Ramey, who has mental health problems, was dating a relative of the child. Sabrina’s stepmother also confirmed to DailyMail that the rapist is a friend of the child’s father.  Shortly before Sabrina's disappearance, she had called her Grandmother to let her know that the church bus was late to pick her up.
