Designer goods worth €450,000 (£400,000) were stoled from John Terry's
mansion after he shared a photo to Instagram saying he was on holiday.
The former England captain's home was robbed of an "eye watering"
amount worth of jewellery and designer goods in February, it has
emerged.
Terry, who was on a skiing holiday with his wife Toni and their
children at the time, posted a photo to Instagram saying he was having
"a great few days away skiing with the family."
Following the publication of the post, a group of burglars took advantage of the opportunity and raided his Surrey home, taking €140,000 (£126,000) worth of designer handbags and other goods of high value, according to The Telegraph.

It was claimed that the thieves found so many handbags they were
unable to carry them all, taking 28 of the most valuable items including
a €47,000 (£42,000) snakeskin Hermes bag, and others from Chanel,
Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent.
They executed the burglary with "ruthless efficiency," and even returned later that night to break into a safe, Kingston Crown Court heard.

Rossano Scamardella, prosecuting, said: ''Mr Terry made the mistake
of posting a photograph of himself and his family on the social media
platform, Instagram.
"Revealing as it must have done to anyone who saw it, that their house was empty."
She said officers who arrived at the scene at 3am on February 25 were shocked by the scenes of “carnage” that greeted them.
