But, never one to shy away from a personal drama, Taylor Swift has reignited another public spat, this week - with Kim Kardashian West.
The feisty chart-topper, 28, raised eyebrows when she kick-started her Reputation tour in Glendale, Arizona, on Wednesday night.
Taking to the stage at the University of Phoenix Stadium while surrounded by decorative snakes, the gesture was clearly a dig at the reality TV star and her rapper husband, Kanye West.
The trio famously fell-out in 2016 when he released the track 'Famous'.
That contained the lyrics 'I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous', which she said caused offence.
But, jumping to her husband's defence, Kim shared footage of Kanye getting verbal approval for the reference Swift by phone.
Afterwards, Kim posted a message about snakes, which many assumed was aimed at Taylor.
Explaining her bizarre stage decoration, she told fans: “You might be wondering why there are so many snakes everywhere, huh?.
“A couple of years ago, someone called me a snake on social media and it caught on.
"Then a lot of people were calling me a lot of things on social media
and I went through some really low times for a while because of it.
"I went through some times when I didn’t know if I was going to get to do this anymore.”
However, while it certainly threw shade at her rival, not everybody was impressed.
One fan wrote: "I can’t believe Taylor actually dedicated an entire era to Kim calling her a snake on Twitter. Homegirl must be running out of ideas."
Another posted: "Did Taylor seriously mention her feud with Kim in her first concert? FFS let it go."
