Wow! This 'Miracle' Boy Beat Terminal Cancer With No Treatment At All

Dubbed the miracle child, a little boy with an aggressive form of cancer who was told he had just months to live has started to beat the disease - by himself.

Brave Julian Malankowska, eight, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia when he was two and despite overcoming it three times was told by doctors last June it has returned and there was nothing more they could do.

But now Julian, who medics have called a “one in seven billion case”, is seemingly defying all odds and his blood results are slowly improving of their own accord.

Julian has not been receiving treatment because it was accepted that there was no more medical options for him. any more.

To find out what why a patient with progressive leukaemia was getting better, doctors performed bone marrow tests and it was found that Julian had “rising platelets” and his parents were told his cancer levels had dropped by half.

They now say Julian's condition has transformed into acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), a treatable form of the cancer.

The youngster's mother Aneta Malankowska, 30, from Blackburn, Lancs., has been told Julian's situation was the first of its kind.

She said: "We couldn't believe it, we had been told for months we had to prepare for the worst and prepare for Julian to die.

"I had to try and tell his four-year-old brother Leon what was going on, they both kept asking what heaven was, it's been so hard.

"He's been battling with the disease since he was two, he's had bone marrow transplants, chemotherapy, everything to try and make him better but nothing worked.

"It was shocking, we had gone from accepting he was going to die to be told his cancer was treatable."

His mum said that he had even old her he wanted to die as he spent so much of his time in hospital.

She added: "He's been very, very sad while going through all of this as you can imagine.

"He's not been like a normal eight-year-old, he has periods when he rarely speaks to anyone and I'm thinking of getting him some sort of therapy to help him.

"I have to explain to him that everything will be fine, he finally said to me the other day he trusted me and he believes that now."

Alena added: "We just have to stay positive. I have to stay positive for him and for my family."
