Eye witness says it was Kelis who abused Nas during their marriage

 

Singer/Chef Kelis went viral last week when she told the website Hollywood Unlocked that rapper Nas was abusive during their marriage. But an eyewitness says it was Kelis who was abusive, not Nas.


When speaking with Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked, Kelis chose her words carefully, saying that their marriage "had abuse," that they "fought" and that she was "covered in bruises". She did not exactly say who was doing what.

Kelis said during the interview: "We were drinking too much, smoking too much. We were too much. It was all too much."
Then Jason asked: "So what you say verbal and physical abuse, [Nas] would hit you?"
And Kelis replied: "We would fight. I never just sat there, but we would definitely fight."
Now, a man who worked in an Atlanta restaurant near Nas and Kelis home and knew the couple, claims it was Kelis who was abusing Nas. 
@SothSideGaClay tweeted: "They used to come to a restaurant I worked at.. we used to see her screaming at Nas, slapping him in his head etc and he just try to be calm, apologizing to the staff about her. If anything, she’s the abusive one."

He added: "Just seeing what I saw when I seen them together in Atlanta.. and also coming from a chic who tried to keep this man from the BIRTH of his son, I flat out don’t believe her."
