Two hotel workers were locked in a baggage room and threatened with knives during a terrifying raid at a Dublin hotel overnight.
At approximately 1am three raiders entered the five-star Conrad Hotel
on Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2 wearing balaclavas and carrying knives.
The raiders threatened two staff members and claimed they had a firearm.
The workers were locked in a baggage room and threatened during the ordeal.
Staff were ordered to open the safe but were unable to do so as it was time-locked.
The raiders fled with a sum of money, believed to be around €300, from a cash till float.

A garda spokesman said officers in Pearse St are "investigating a
robbery that occurred at an hotel on Earlsfort Terrace at approximately
1am this morning".
"Three males wearing Balaclavas, two armed with knives, entered and threatened staff. They left with an undisclosed sum of money. No one required hospital treatment."
