Police in Cleveland is looking for a mother who pulled a gun on a barber who was taking too long to cut her son's hair. According to Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County, the incident happened on the 14th of April at Allstate Barber College on Lorain Avenue.   Police say the woman complained severally before pulling a handgun from her purse and pointing it at the barber, telling him, 'I got two clips. I’ll pop you.' Fortunately, she was calmed by another employee before putting away the gun. The victim who escaped being shot finished the haircut and the suspect left with her two children. With images of the woman captured on a surveillance video, authorities are now asking the public for help in identifying the suspect.

Veteran  American rapper, DMX, who is a drug addict has checked himself into rehab to get help over his worrisome health. According to TMZ, he had to cancel three shows this week due to what was deemed a 'medical emergency.'   The rapper reportedly entered the rehab facility voluntarily on  Thursday  April 28th in Southern California with the support of his manager, Pat Gallo, and his ex-wife, Tashera Simmons. No fewer than 14 people drowned  on Friday  evening while four others went missing after their boat capsized in a stream in Anantapuramu district of Andhra Pradesh in India, the police said on Saturday They were said to have gone for a joy ride in a fishing boat the after attending a function in the village. According to a police official, all the victims were closely related and many of them belonged to one family. Confirming the sad incident, Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas said: 'More than ten bodies were fished out from the stream and were being shifted to the government hospital in Guntakal for post-mortem.' According to him, at least six of the victims were said to be children and over five women. However, Police preliminary investigation discloses that the tragedy could have been caused by overcrowding.

 A 41-year-old man who raped a five-year-old girl in Croydon, UK has been jailed for 13 years. Jerry Ablorh of Bensham Grove, Thornton Heath, was sentenced on Friday, April 28, at Croydon Crown Court having previously been found guilty of rape and two counts of sexual assault by penetration. He attacked the girl at his former home in Collyer Avenue, Croydon between January and December 2014. The court heard that Ablorh had befriended the victim and her mother and worked hard to build up their trust. He looked after the victim to help out her mother and took her to the park, sending photos to reassure her mum everything was okay. He got the victim to refer to him as 'Uncle John' and also gave her mum a false name of 'Eugene'. Ablorh took the victim to his home - an outhouse he was renting in a garden in Collyer Avenue, Croydon - where he raped her. He said her mother would die if she told anyone. North Korea launched a ballistic missile today Saturday (in their local time) but the missile exploded soon after launch without completing it, U.S. officials said. The failed test involved a short-range, non-nuclear missile, which would only be able to hit Seoul, but not Japan. A US official said they had warning of the test and watched it closely.  A South Korean military official said that the test occurred around 5:30 a.m. local time. The official said: "Currently, we are closely monitoring North Korea's further military provocation and are totally ready to meet any and all kinds of provocation," the official told NBC. U.S. Pacific Command said the missile did not leave North Korean territory, adding that the North American Aerospace Defense Command determined the launch did not pose a threat to North America. 72-year-old Darlene Mullins, a grandmother-of-four will be among the 800 students to graduate from Tennessee State University, TSU, on the  6th of May.  Darlene will be receiving her degree 55 good years after she started at the institution. Darlene began her studies in TSU campus in 1962, however, almost immediately, she fell in love with fellow student John Mullins, a senior from East St. Louis, Illinois, who she described as dashing, handsome and “everything to behold".  They got married and she had to quit her education to focus on her new family while John stayed on and graduated in 1964. Tanzanian President John Magufuli on Friday fired 9,932 civil servants who were found using fake educational certificates to work. Magufuli made the announcement on state television after receiving a report on public servants' certificates verification. He said salaries of 9,000 plus employees for this month should be withheld after an investigative task force found that 9,932 government workers presented fake qualifications when they were employed.  The president immediately ordered that the dismissed civil servants would have to defend themselves in court, 'so that they could be jailed for seven years as the law says.' Malaysia Police on Thursday, April 27, said they arrested a Nigerian cook after he was found to be in possession of cannabis worth RM2,000. Serdang police chief assistant commissioner Megat Mohd Aminuddin Megat Alias said the 42-year old Nigerian man was arrested near Pangsapuri Anggerik, Taman Suria in Seri Kembangan, on Saturday, April 22. His 32-year old girlfriend, who is also a Nigerian, was also picked up by the police in his flat.  Megat said he was found carrying a plastic bag containing 24 small packets of dried leaves, believed to be cannabis. The packets weighed 150 grammes.  "We seized some RM2,000 worth of ganja packed in small packets and sachets. "We believe the suspect had been operating his drug business near a restaurant where he worked," he said. Further checks in his flat found another bag containing cannabis, weighing 727.68 gram. Ahead of 'Star Wars' 40th anniversary, Japanese jeweler Tanaka Kikinzoku has unveiled a 24 karat gold sculpture of Darth Vader, one of the fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. According to Japan Times, the 15kg (33 pounds) statue of the iconic sci-fi villain will sell at a hefty $1.4 million and will be available to purchase in Japan on  May 4 , being the 'Star Wars' Day. The glowing gold helmet is currently on display at the jeweler’s main store Tokyo’s Ginza shopping district. The jeweler also plans to release gold coins specially designed to celebrate the anniversary in the more affordable price range of $1,200 to $11,000 (about R15,9k to R145,9k). The Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Navi Mumbai police  on Thursday  afternoon, April 27, arrested a Nigerian national Ugochukwu John Nnadi for trying to sell mephedrone rock and powder.  The police have seized around 25 gram of the drug in powder form and 85 gram in rock form, together estimated to be worth around 3.30 lakh. For Isaac Vatkin, 91, and his wife, Teresa Vatkin, 89, even death would not do them part, as Isaac followed minutes after his wife gave up the ghost last weekend. After 69 years of marriage, Teresa died at  12:10 a.m.   on Saturday  after years of suffering from Alzheimer's disease, while Isaac died minutes later, with their hands intertwined. They were both in Highland Park Hospital in Skokie, Illinois, where Isaac sat by Teresa and watched her die, but when their entwined fingers were separated at  12:50 a.m. , it was noticed that Isaac had passed away too. Isaac and Teresa met in their native Argentina, and eventually, they married and moved to Skokie. Together they raised their three children; Clara, Daniel and Leonardo.
