Fans of veteran South African gospel singer, Matlakala Ramathoka, are mourning the shocking death of the 43-year-old singer, who died after complaining of chest pains. Before her untimely death, she had finished recording an album titled 'Emanuel', which she was excited about promoting after releasing it on Friday.
'She was over the moon about her album release and her fans were excited,' said Universal's Marketing and Promotions manager Ngcebo Mdima.
The singer died on Sunday, March 27, 2017, after she was rushed to Akasia Private Hospital, north of Tshwane.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
