Cameroonian football star fired by Egyptian club for testing HIV positive 4 days after signing contract(photos)

Cameroonian football player Samuel Nlend has been sacked by a top Egyptian football club after tests revealed he was HIV positive. Egyptian Premier League
side Al Ittihad sacked the 21-year-old just four days after signing a three year contract with him.



 Egyptian news outlet KingFut.com reported that a media representative of the club confirmed the news to the press. Nlend is regarded as one of Cameroon's brightest soccer prospects. He scored in January's Africa Cup of Nations tournament. He also finished the last Cameroonian soccer league as the top scorer with his former club, Union Douala.
