Piers Morgan has told how he was saved from cancer after an eagle-eyed
viewer got in touch when she noticed something unusual about his
appearance. The Good Morning Britain host was contacted by a Melanoma expert when she spotted a small blemish on his chest.
Gillian Nuttall, founder of Melanoma UK, urged him to seek medical advice.
The 52 year-old dad-of-three said Gillian emailed him to say: "'Piers, at the risk of sounding like a lunatic, I'm just watching your programme and there's a blemish on your chest. Have you had it checked?"
Following Gillian's warning, Piers visited a leading dermatologist, according to the Daily Star, who then cut out the blemish.
Piers was told the mark could have turned cancerous if it had been left unattended much longer. Observant viewer!
