Amusement Park to hold memorial service after freezing 5000 fishes for 'fun'

A Japanese amusement park, 'Space World', that froze 5,000 dead fishes into ice as a side attraction for its visitors has been forced to shut down after receiving a barrage of criticism from locals, with one labelling the attraction 'sinful'. The rink which is located in south-western Japan was opened on November 12, 2016 and had to freeze the dead fishes as side attraction to help entertain their yet growing customer data base. The frozen fishes served as a decorative effect for customers who skated above the rink for fun, but the concept was slammed as unethical by many locals who forced the rink to close on Sunday. Toshimi Takeda, General Manager to the company  told AFP Sunday; 'We received critical voices saying it is not good to use creatures as a toy, and that it is bad to let food go to waste.’ Toshimi said the intention behind his action was for customers to have fun while also learning about fish. Unfortunately, Space World is now having to melt the r...

Get Me Out Of Here! - that's not a mantra, it's on the telly - there's things I've got to do. "I think I'm too much of a people pleaser to say, 'Guys, it's not gonna happen, I'm sorry'. Nine killed in Ohio University after a gunman unleash terror ...photo

I wonder what is influencing this kind of behaviour in the United States of America. Where someone will just go to a school with gun and start shooting students. A suspect is dead and at least 9 injured about an hour after an active shooter situation was reported at Ohio State University. Just before 10am [local time], the university issued a warning telling students at the school's Columbus campus to shelter in place. The first reports of gunshots came from Watts Hall, which is home to the school's Materials Science and Engineering program. Since then though, the focus of law enforcement on the campus has been on a nearby parking garage, where the shooter or shooters were believed to be hiding. More photos... Police stormed the garage just before 11am and minutes later they confirmed that one suspect was dead. Two men, one black and one white, were also brought out of the building in handcuffs.

The nine-time Olympic gold medal winner will call time on his track and field career following the World Championships in London next year. And Bolt, 29, who last month trained with Borussia Dortmund, wants to be a footballer when he hangs up his running spikes. Speaking to the BBC on Monday morning, he said: "It's something that I'm looking into. I might do a few trials. I want a trial. I don't want to actually just jump into it. You know, [I want to] get some training in, learn a few things. I think I'd be pretty good." Asked what his favoured position would be, Bolt responded: "A winger or a striker. Use my speed, you know what I mean? "
